Withers uses Washington State University director of athletics Bill Moos’ pursuit of Mike Leach and the process used by Greg Byrne, the University of Arizona director of athletics, to hire Rich Rodriguez to highlight how some Division I athletics CEOs go about finding and hiring head football coaches.
